We are in the process of confirming a site at a military installation in South Korea where we hope to take the final monument of SSgt Reckless back home to Korea in 2025, celebrating the 250th birthday of the Marine Corps.
November 10, 2024 is the 70th anniversary of Reckless arriving in America and was guest of honor at the Marines Memorial Club birthday ball that evening. It is appropriate that we take her back home to Korea so she can forever be back in the country from which she came .
The cost of the monument will be $300,000 to get her there. All donors will be placed on the Donor Wall below, and all donations over $5,000 will be placed on the plaque of the monument.
